Background

Federico is a Fiscella of the main branch, closer to the center of power that currently is his older sister, and thus has sought to serve and add to the prosperity of his house with whatever he can provide through his skills and disposition. Perhaps a little less gifted in mercantile finesse, he has been assigned to oversee valuable shippings and see them arrive safely. A man of the sword himself, he was trained by none other than his own father, the late head of the House. As such, he is ready be called upon, should the need for a duel arise.

Despite his youth, he has some experience in sea travel, and occasionally assisted an uncle of his in overseeing some voyages aboard a mercantile ship. The young man is as of now unattached, perhaps not as sparkling in conversation, and of a rather retained charme. He does have a few hobbies, flirting and lute playing among other things, and can occasionally have a temper rise quickly, despite his usual display of outward calm. He was too young to fight in the Battle of Cortaccia five years ago, but what he heard of it caused him a dilemma, grieving the loss of his father while marveling at the same time at the glory of how the proud leader of the Fiscella went down - dealing heavy losses to their opponents. It has been a story that has spurred him on and strengthened his family pride - and makes him strive to become as heroic perhaps, one day, so that he can make his own mark on history.
